Finals Day Champions 2023

Great tennis on Sunday afternoon, 24 September: very close and hard-fought matches played in a good sporting spirit encouraged by generous supporters. Thanks to all our finalists who provided us with such good matches!

Jim wins Men's Singles and Doubles

Congratulations to Jim, Men's Singles and Doubles Champion! Jim beat Kirthan in a hard-fought match with a close second set 6-1, 6-4 before combining with Matt to beat Danny & Gareth 6-3, 6-4. Thanks to Graeme, our Tournament Organiser.

Ladies' Doubles: Beth & Alison

Beth & Alison defeated Kumi & Olwen in two very close sets, 7-5, 6-4. Thanks to Mandy who organised sociable round robins followed by competitive knock-out stages.

Men's Plate competitions

Greater depth in competitive Men's tennis allowed our enthusiastic Men's tournament organiser, to run new Men's Plate competitions. Singles: Shree won an entertaining final against Vimal 6-2, 6-2. Jack & Ed won the round-robin Doubles.
