Finals' Day 18 September 2022

Congratulations to all our finalists and thanks for some great tennis in our Men's Singles, Men's Doubles and Ladies' Doubles. Many thanks to Danny and Mandy for organising the tournaments; Jane and Sharyn for the delicious cakes and to all who helped preparing for, running and clearing up on the day.

Men's singles finalists Gareth and Kirthan

Congratulations to Kirthan who won 6-2, 6-1. The games were much closer than that score suggests. It was so exhausting that they were very glad to have a ball boy! Thanks to our umpire, Ed.

Ladies' doubles final

Well done to Alison and Sharyn who beat Miwa and Sally 6-2, 6-4. Some great exchanges! Thanks to our umpire, Olwen.

Men's doubles final

Congratulations John & Gareth who triumphed over Jim & Matt 6-1, 7-5. There were set points both ways in the second set, but John & Gareth came through!
